Buon Anno A Tutti!

Heya Everybody! Its a me, Anziano Parry!

So this last week has been a wild one. Well...kinda.

First things first, To Ammon and Brad, I want to say:

Tanti Auguri a Voi!
Tanti Auguri a Voi!
Tanti Auguri a Ammon e Brad,
Tanti Auguri a Voi!

I hope that you have/had a happy birthday.

As for New Years, it was kinda wild, yet really lame at the same time. Here in Italia, everyone absolutely loves New Years. They love it so much, in fact, that everyone buys fireworks that go BANG. And the bigger the bang it makes, the better firework it is.  So people set out to make their own concoctions that make noise. And then they sell them. And as a result, every year there are hundreds of people injured. People lose hands here all the time. Its a normal occurance here. In fact, this year, someone lost their hand at 6:00 pm. He was the first one, and he lived in Napoli haha. Italians... Gotta love 'em.  But because of the fact that it is SLIGHTLY more dangerous here than it is in the States, we had to be in the house by 6:00 pm. We got to play Risiko, and eat alot of good food that people decided to bring us, and then we said goodbye to sleeping when all the bombs decided to go off. It was loud, you could hear everything, but we live in a quiet part of the city right next to a police station so everything was a long way off. It was fun.

Then, on Monday, we had a mass day of cleaning. Twice a year, we deep clean the apartment. And this time,it needed it haha. We spent all day cleaning, scrubbing, mopping, washing, shining, organizing, sweeping, wiping, etc etc. And I must say, my appartment is now the cleanest it has been since I have been here.

As for work, things are going very well this week! We have been working with a lot of people this week, and several different new investigators that have alot of potential. We challenged two investigators to baptism this week. One is named Giuseppe Nunnari, and the other is named Enrico Nostro. One accepted immediately, Enrico, and we set a date for the 29th of Gennaio. The other said he wasnt certain about it yet, but promised that he would pray about it. We are going to be working with both of them striving for the goal of baptism.

And I advise all people everywhere to not eat little tiny red pepers. It is just not worth it haha. And I did it without drinking anything. It really, probably.... it actually absolutely definately was not the smartest thing I have ever done. Mi Raccomando, eh?

Anyways, things are going great here! I have probably said that before, but hey, it is just as true as ever.
Vi voglio bene!
Anziano Parry
